Overview
Genome Protocol is an AI-powered Engagement infrastructure for Web3 projects. Scaling it needed a dual-threat go-to-market engine: automated infrastructure for managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), paired with an AMA strategy that converted attention into pipeline.
Impact
Leading up to critical network rollouts, Genome needed a sharp spike in distribution. Managing dozens of external partners by hand created data silos, unverified deliverables, and delayed payments. At the same time, the team needed a direct channel to build trust and control the narrative with its community. What was required was a system that could handle high-volume tracking with zero manual data entry, alongside live events that converted listeners into users and partners.
Work
I architected a centralized go-to-market infrastructure to manage 36 contracted global KOLs on a $22K budget and spearhead Genome’s AMA strategy.
I owned the KOL function end-to-end, including sourcing, onboarding, KPI enforcement, and payments, with full control over budget allocation. Rather than treating the roster as a reach buy, I gave partners first access to new product drops, turning distribution into a live user-acquisition channel and helping mint out an 888-piece NFT collection.
On the AMA side, I hosted and produced 15+ X Spaces, sourcing and managing 56 industry guests. I aligned Genome’s core narrative with partner distribution to drive concurrent listenership and real-time engagement. The leverage came after each Space: I moved guests into a dedicated pipeline group and worked them into deals, sourcing 32 partnerships and integrations. Every event was a pipeline event, not just a reach event.
On the engineering side, I built an automated lead generation and management CRM in Google Sheets for raw data capture, Notion for pipeline orchestration, orchestrated by n8n. The system pulled KOL post data directly from the X API, passed content through an OpenAI verification layer to enforce brand compliance, and dynamically updated Notion to verify genuine metrics. One pipeline ran both KOL deliverable tracking and partnership lead generation.
